3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 Egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sifter flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 cups blueberries
Mix together and spread batter in a greased and floured 9” square pan.
Cover with the following crumb mixture:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
Bake at 375 for 25 to 35 minutes
